Wicker Park
Wicker Park, a former ethnic enclave, has blazed trails in Chicago as a hip, young, arty community, but these days developers and yuppies are beginning to take over. Nonetheless, the amount and variety of shopping, eating, drinking, and fun activities centered around this wild, busy six-way intersection make it a very desirable place to be... unless you are driving a car!

Landmarks at this six-way include the so-called "Coyote" Building at 1600 N. Milwaukee Ave. and the Flat Iron Arts Building, not to be confused with famous Chicago architect Daniel Burnham's Flat Iron Building in New York City, which similarly has a triangular plan but is a much taller and more beautiful Beaux Arts building.

The Coyote Building
The Coyote Building at 1600 N. Milwaukee Ave. is so-called because its slender shape and corner tower resemble a coyote howling at the moon.
Cafe Absinthe
Cafe Absinthe does not actually serve absinthe. It's illegal in the U.S., dummy!
